Take for example a 2000 sq ft home that has a combined 20 sq ft of visible and hidden black mold.  Traditionally, mold removal would quarantine the immediate area around that 20 sq ft, and maybe another 80 sq ft surrounding it as well.  Then treat only that part of the home.
